(England, UK)
My name is Tony Harrison from England. In 2010 my daughter took her own life. It’s been a terrible time since that day. I was inspired to write a song and got it recorded and wondered if it might be something to include on your site? This song would be free to for people to use if they wish. Thank you for taking the time to read my message.
Lyrics
To see your smile once more
And hear your voice again
If only I could have those things
It would help to ease my pain
My pillow holds an ocean of tears
Thinking it’s a dream
My heart is in a million pieces
I just want to shout and scream
You are the sun that shines so bright
You are the twinkle of a star in the sky
You are the flowers that grow wild and free
You are an angel who glides on the breeze
If pictures paint a thousand words
You have broken the rule
By taking one look at you
We can all see you’re the jewel
I’m lost and don’t know what to do
Each day I cry and cry
Your beautiful face and smile to see
Would help to get me by
You are the sun that shines so bright
You are the twinkle of a star in the sky
You are the flowers that grow wild and free
You are an angel who glides on the breeze
Angel on the breeze
Angel on the breeze
Angel on the breeze
Angel on the breeze
Angel on the breeze
Angel on the breeze

Thank you Leza
I’m sorry for your loss Hi my name is Kasey. I am 20 years old and have had 2 kids. My recent daughter Lana Rose was born December 3rd 2012 and passed away Christmas morning. It is the hardest thing a parent could go through. I still feel like it was yesterday and don’t know how to cope with the pain anymore. I wish I could have done something but there was nothing I could do. You have a beautiful daughter. And I’m sorry for your loss. And all of us that has lost a child is going to have to deal with it for the rest of our lives. But all of our kids are safe and playing with each other. I wish there was something that I could do to bring her back. You wrote a beautiful song 🙂 |
Thank you

Hi Kasey, thank you so much for commenting. I am so sorry for your loss. It is the worst thing for a parent and the pain as you rightly say is horrible and so difficult to bear. I wish I could bring them all back too. Thank you again and thank you for your kind comments about my song. Take care Kasey 🙂 xx
